Who we are
Oaksmith Homes is a custom home builder at 4230 Sherwoodtowne Blvd., Mississauga, ON L4Z 2G6. Questions about your information go to Sami Rafeeh at sami@oaksmith.ca or 416-505-2444.
What we collect
The details you send us through our forms or by email or phone: your name, email, phone number, the property address and what you tell us about your project. Our website host records basic technical data, such as your IP address and browser, to keep the site secure.
Why we use it
To reply to you, prepare your Lot Check, proposal or consultation, and keep records of our work together. If you tick the box for news, we also send occasional emails about our homes and offers; every email has an unsubscribe link. We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada’s anti-spam law (CASL).
AI tools
We may use AI tools, such as Claude by Anthropic, to help prepare a first draft of your Lot Check from the details you send. Sami reviews every report before it reaches you.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your information. Service providers that run our website, forms and email process it on our behalf. We share project details with designers, engineers, trades or the city only when your project needs it, and with your permission.
Cookies
Most of our site uses only the cookies it needs to work. Our Lot Check tool asks before it sets anything else. With your consent, analytics cookies (Google Analytics) count visits, and marketing cookies (Meta and Google Ads) let us show Oaksmith ads to people who used Lot Check. One of them, osk_fit_a, osk_fit_b or osk_fit_c, records your project type, your city and how closely your project matches the work we do, for 90 days. We never send your address, name, email or phone to ad platforms, and you can change your choice at any time from the cookie settings link.
How long we keep it
For as long as we need it for your project and our legal and warranty records. Enquiries that don’t go ahead are deleted after two years.
Your choices
You can ask to see or correct your information, withdraw your consent or ask us to delete it. Email sami@oaksmith.ca and we’ll reply within 30 days.
